Richard McAleese comes from Ballymena in Northern Ireland.

His long-time interest in photography has largely developed and evolved in recent years. His fascination with the landscape and revealing it to others, particularly that of his native Northern Ireland, through his photography has been a passion.

His first interest is in the landscape photography, his images range from the descriptive to the abstract. He is also a skilled practitioner in other genres of photography.

As well and his experiential learning, he has gained a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Photography, having been awarded 'Distinctions' in all five assignments of the course.

He has also been awarded a 'Grade A' in GCSE Photography.
